Step One: After you find me and email or call with your initial inquiry through my contact page, we will set up a first meeting or phone consultation. This is where we get to know each other and decide if it’s a good fit! This is also where I’ll break down my process and pricing with you.
Step Two: After our first meeting or call I will send you a custom package proposal based off of your wedding needs.
Step Three: Once we have a finalized package, you sign off and pay the deposit (50%) to save me for your big day!
Step Four: We will meet in person once more for an engagement shoot (if you choose to have one) – these are so much fun! We go to a meaningful place for you as a couple and I spend an hour taking gorgeous photos of you lovebirds.
Step Five: In the earlier wedding planning months, we work together (and with the planner if you have one) on a custom timeline. This is essential, as it allows me to make sure that there will be enough time throughout your day for all photos but most importantly that things are well organize so you maximize time to enjoy yourselves!
Step Six: A month before the big day, I send out a month-of checklist where you let me know all the configurations of family photos you would like to have and other essential planning details like the ceremony schedule. This checklist will be in my pocket on the big day so I can be absolutely certain that we get all the photos you need! The second half of your payment is also due at this time.
Step Seven: It’s your big day! I arrive at least ten minutes early so I can get settled before I’m on-the-clock. I don’t want to be wasting any precious shooting time! Throughout the day I will be taking both posed and candid photos, directing and leading the shooting when necessary, but making sure that everything feels organized and calm. When my time is up for the day I make sure to find you on the dance floor and give you both big hugs; it’s been a blast!
Step Eight: Within a week I will get you what I call my “sneak peek gallery” – my absolute favorite thing. It’s essentially my favorite 50 photos from the day, delivered lightning quick so you can get them up on social and get a sneak peek for all the goodness to come!
Step Nine: Within six to eight weeks from your wedding date, you’ll get an email in your inbox with the subject “Your Wedding Pictures!” This will take you to a gorgeous online gallery with all 700-1,000 (depending on your package) fully edited photos from your day. I always recommend you wait until you’re together in the evening and take the time to go through the photos one by one. It’s the best way to relive your day. The photos will be 100% yours and you have full printing rights to them!
Step Ten: If at any point in your wedded life you decide you’d like a gorgeous leather or linen-bound wedding album (or if it’s included in your package), we will work together on that! You pick your favorite photos (up to 80) and I hand-design each album. Once you sign off on the album design it is sent to my preferred printer and within two months you have a gorgeous hand-crafted memory of your day.
